| IC Dread Harbingers
Contract:
Characters are not allowed to attack, harm, or kill another Dread Harbingers member. Characters that do so will be dealt with harshly IC by Kalypso. Characters must at least be somewhat civil with each other. It is fully understand that, as the guild is made up of thieves and mercenaries, that the group won't be sunshine and rainbows. But either before and just after recruitment, Kalypso will explain this IC.
Hiring/Firing:
Characters wishing to join Dread Harbingers have to be hired IC by either Kalypso or an officer ranked character. This includes alts of players that already play with Dread Harbingers. There is no limit on how many characters a player can have in the group. But as hiring is IC, so is firing. If IC something does not work and a character is fired by Kalypso, that character is removed from the group. It does not make sense to have a character in a group OOC when IC, they have been told to leave. Players of these characters are welcome to make another character or have that character try to rejoin.
OOC Dread Harbingers
Godmodding:
Godmodding is when a character is all perfect and has no flaws or weaknesses. For example, they will never take damage in a fight or they are suddenly the strongest thing around and able to make others do whatever they wish. This is not acceptable whatsoever, it is considered extremely poor rping as it is in no way realistic or logical.
Metagaming
Metagaming is when your character knows things or does things they would not know logically. For example, you may know OOC that purple is Kalypso's favorite color. But unless your character is told IC, your character cannot say they know she loves purple. This is simply keeping things straight as to what you know versus what your character knows.
Bullying
This does not apply in the IC sense, though IC your character will possibly be in some serious trouble. However, OOC wise this is never permitted. This is not just on the guild chat but also the com chat, teams, private messaging, or mail. If a member reports the bullying, it will be dealt with no matter the format.
OOC Content
Dread Harbingers is made of players mostly in their late teens and twenties. We do not find humor in crude remarks and Yo Mama jokes. Please avoid topics like these as more often then not they just offend people. Remember it is the internet, you do not know who is really behind the screen and what they see as offensive or insulting. You may not mean it as such, but it is extremely difficult to add voice tones to text. Be careful of what you say and how it is said to avoid starting issues. Your group leader will love you forever if we avoid issues.
